July 12, 2009 - Automation Systems Interconnect announced the XSR inductive ring sensor. The XSR is activated whenever a metallic object passes through the inductive ring, making the XSR ideal for applications where detecting small pieces of metal within the sensing range or for detecting breaks in any continuous metal feed through the ring are necessary. The XSR uses M12 sensor cables for electrical connection and has an operating voltage of 10-30 VDC. This sensor also comes equipped with LED indication and an IP67 protection rating. ASI’s XSR inductive ring sensor, data sheets, technical specifications, “Special Internet” pricing, and availability can be found on the ASI website.
