About Trend Calc
Trend Calc provides a simple way for users to create calculated tags from OPC Data Access or OPC Historical Data Access data with no programming required. These results are stored into the Canary Labs Trend Historian product and are made available to Trend Link and OPC HDA clients. This software allows the user to compute sums, efficiencies, and performance calculations to quickly determine useful information.Trend Calc handles simple to multi-level formulas and can perform calculations using multiple OPC tags or OPC HDA tags. It is event driven and can have multiple triggers for each calculation based on value change for OPC tags and time interval or value change for OPC HDA tags.
It supports over 60 built-in functions and desired calculations are quickly defined by entering a formula with no complicated program code to master.
