RocketModem III delivers four or eight industry-leading analog modems on a single expansion card, which is commonly used to create communications servers for remote access and fax applications.
The new “inch” V.90/56K modems used on the card provide more features than previous models, including support for “call waiting” and “ring indicator,” both of which were highly requested features.Using Comtrol's unique, industry-leading RocketPort® Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) technology, RocketModem III maximizes performance by handling multiport control functions directly on the card, while minimizing utilization of the host CPU.
