Downers Grove, Illinois (October 12, 2005) - As a major manufacturer of industrial networking equipment, Contemporary Controls now offers a $99 five-port 10/100 Mbps Industrial Ethernet switch to meet their customers expectations. “We provide value to our customers by offering the Skorpion-5 switch at a very competitive price with an outstanding five-year warranty,” says Joe Stasiek, Sales Manager for Contemporary Controls. “The Skorpion-5 has all the features that our customers desire―features that require no operator intervention.” Stasiek explains that this EISK5-100T switch occupies only one inch of DIN-rail because space is at a premium in automation systems.
Other features include a 0 degrees to +60 degrees C operating temperature range, wide-range, low-voltage power sources, redundant power connections, troubleshooting LEDs and it is industrial EMC compliant. “We’ve been in business for more than 30 years so we know what we’re doing,” comments Stasiek. “We know how to design the ‘right’ Ethernet switch for our customers.
Because of our quality procedures, that’s why we can provide a five-year warranty.”For more information on the $99 Skorpion-5 switch, visit www.ctrlink.com/5portsw.htm .
