DataVU 5
DataVU 5 is an excellent entry level paperless recorder. It has an intuitive menu wizard operated through 5 soft key menu buttons which ensures set up is a quick and easy process for users and allows configuration to be carried out on the spot.
If multiple recorders require the same profile to be set up then this can be achieved efficiently using remote PC configuration with a Ethernet or CompactFlash card connection.
Data provided by the recorder is highly visible as the instrument has a 5” TFT high quality, colour display. The screen supports wide viewing angles with minimal colour distortions and loss of contrast making it ideal for use in all industrial environments.
DataVU 5 provides flexibility in the presentation of data. Different formats to view data include a; graphical display, numerical display, historical data display and an event list.

DataVU 7
DataVU 7 is the recorder for those requiring advanced functionality. As well as the standard displays offered by DataVU 5, the DataVU 7 allows the presentation of data to be customised to a specific application. It does this through grouping related measurements and data on a single page. If desired a personalised picture of the application can be added to add relevancy to the data and bring it to life.
If batch reports are required then DataVU 7 will be the required recorder. If allows three batch reports to be created at the same time. The batch data can then be presented on the recorder and within the Evaluation Software. It is also possible to use a barcode reader to start and read batches, this is a helpful tool to deal with the issue of errors occurring during input.
PC evaluation software is available and allows in depth interrogation of data. There is a great degree of flexibility with reporting and timeframe can be set as hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, annually or a custom date range can be applied. The data can be annotated with comments which relate to process events, thus giving greater meaning and relevance to the data.
