July 17, 2013 - Dwyer Instruments introduces Series PUB & PUF Portable Ultrasonic Flowmeter Kits, which utilize the transit-time difference for measuring flow rates in pipes non-invasively. The units are compact and lightweight instruments incorporating the latest electronics and signal processing technologies, realizing high performance and easy operation.
Each of the devices is capable of 20 hours continuous operation with a built-in battery, which requires 6.5 hours to recharge. Both the PUB & PUF have an IP54 rating for the units & transducers and come with an IP67 rated carrying case with molded foam inserts to hold and protect all equipment against dust and water. The screens offer easy to read text with a convenient backlight for visual comfort. The efficient layout of the function keys adds to these units functionality.
Each unit comes with a 4 to 20mA connection to allow connections as well as a pulsed output. The PUF unit has data logging capabilities that can be transferred via RS232 and USB connections to any personal computer or printer.
