Hedland introduces EZ-View flow meter
EZ-View meters can be installed in any position without affecting accuracy and without costly flow straighteners or other special plumbing requirements.

May 13, 2009 - Featuring an easy-to-read flow rate indicator, Hedland's EZ-View flow meter offers a low cost alternative to monitoring flow. This economical, low pressure meter includes a unique spring loaded variable-area design that is relatively insensitive to shock or vibration. The EZ-View contains a minimum number of moving parts, offering a reliable, trouble-free method to monitor a wide range of liquids and gases. The EZ-View meters can be installed in any position without affecting accuracy and can be installed quickly without costly flow straighteners or other special plumbing requirements. These meters operate within a ±5% full scale accuracy and ±1% repeatability.

The ½”, ¾”, and 1” models are offered in the users’ choice of rugged polysulfone or the uncompromising toughness of Radel. The larger 1½” and 2” models are only available in Radel. Several fitting choices are available as diagramed below: The standard flow scale is calibrated in GPM or LPM at 1.0 specific gravity for water and water-based emulsions, or .876 specific gravity for oil and petroleum-based fluids.

Special scales are available in other units of measurement or specific gravities. Optional to Hedland's EZ-View is an AC or DC Flow-Alert flow switch that automatically signals an alarm if flow is too high or too low.
