Automation Project to Modernize Refinery's Process Controls
PHOENIX, Aug. 31, 2004 - Shell Martinez Refinery has awarded Honeywell (NYSE:HON) a $5.3 million contract to modernize its Flexicoker unit. Under the terms of the agreement, Honeywell will install a process control system and provide engineering and construction services. The automation project will enable the Shell Martinez Refinery to upgrade existing controls and maintain plant operations.
