Calgary, AB - ICS Triplex announced they have been awarded an Emergency Shut Down project at a major gas plant in west central Alberta, for one of Canada’s largest oil and gas companies. ICS Triplex will update the existing plant system with their state-of-the-art Trusted fault tolerant control system. ICS Triplex will team up with Hinz Automation and ACM Automation in Calgary, Alberta to deliver the system later this summer (2005).Don Segura, Sales Director for ICS Triplex, said “Trusted was selected as the Safety System of choice after an extensive technical evaluation where the Trusted Run Safe™ technology was preferred for its installation, commissioning and operational features as the best solution for the gas production facility.
