April 6, 2011 - IEI Technology released the NOVA-PV-D4251/D5251, a 5.25” Single Board Computer (SBC) featuring quad PCIe GbE for networking applications. Designed for affordable, entry level computing, It is equipped with an Intel Atom D425/D525 processor with 800 MHz DDR3 memory support and an increased processor speed of 1.8 GHz.
Key features include ASF 2.0 support, TPM V1.2 hardware security functions, and UEFI BIOS architecture that supports over 2.2 TB of HDD storage on a 64-bit operating system. In addition, it comes complete with several I/O options including two SATA 3Gb/s and six RS-232 serial port connectors.
Dual independent display support is provided through either a VGA and 18-bit single-channel interface (WXGA resolution up to 1366x768 or XGA 1024x768) or a 24-bit dual-channel LVDS interface (resolution up to 1920x1080). The DVI-I interface supports resolution up to 2560x1600. All IEI Intel Atom SBCs include IEI’s One Key Recovery software solution. The software eliminates the frustration of system recovery after unexpected system failure. One Key Recovery is an easy way to create full system backup on demand and system restoration to a previously made backup with a single click.
