Sun is based on an embedded single board computer with a customized Linux OS, specifically tuned for real time applications. This means that expert user can further customize the platform and extend its capabilities.
Sun is suitable for control applications over CANopen without suffering from high cost associated to protocol development and testing. It is delivered with CAN/MoveIt inside, a high-level software framework that makes easy to control any number of servo drives.
