October 16, 2013 - Korenix announces JetNet 3906G industrial Gigabit Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Switch that has conformance of IEEE Power over Ethernet standards – IEEE 802.3af / IEEE802.3at.
Features include: DC 48V boosting, Gigabit bandwidth for Mega Pixel Video Stream forwarding, high power budget Power over Ethernet, harsh operating environment, and flexible connectivity optical fiber media. It meets the demands of IP surveillance applications. The JetNet 3906G embedded DC booster accepts DC power (12 or 24V), and then boosts the voltage up to DC 48V, and offers PoE system power budget up to 110W in 75°C ambient temperature. The JetNet 3906G also can operate in the hashest environments with a -40°C to 75°C wide range of temperature operation. The JetNet 3906G has 4-ports PoE for IP camera video forwarding, it functions 100Mbps/ 1000Mbps forwarding speed for mega pixel IP camera.
The PoE ports support IEEE 802.3af/IEEE 802.3at standards with 30W power forwarding ability. JetNet 3906G has 2 Gigabit ports uplink which are 1 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 and SFP port for 100Mbp or 1000Mbps Fiber Transceiver. Both interfaces work independently.
Therefore, the JetNet 3906G can offer higher speed connection through Ethernet copper, or with the multi-mode or single-mode fiber for extra-long distance connection.
