IES-0008-M12 and IPES-0008-4-M12 have IP41 protection, and are EN50155/50121-3-2/50121-4 and NEMA TS2 compliant.
October 31, 2011 - Lantech Communications Global announces IES-0008-M12 and IPES-0008-4-M12 Unmanaged Industrial Switches with M12-connctors. Both have been designed for railway applications and have IP41 protection. The M12 connectors self-tighten by automatically gripping the cables using movement from incident vibration. The IES-0008-M12 provides eight 10/100TX ports, while IPES-0008-4-M12 provides eight 10/100TX ports with four PoE injectors. The IPES- 0008-4-M12 features an integral DC booster from 24V input to 48V output for PoE power feeding, which is suitable for vehicle applications.
These new products have an operational temperature range from -40 to 75°C.
