Movicon SCADA HMI software now has new functions for handling, commanding & controlling communications through modem towards remote control devices.
Progea's Movicon platform excels in the telecontrol sector by implementing, for a majority of the built-in driver protocols including IEC60870-101 and 104, functions for handling, commanding and controlling communications through modem towards remote control devices (PLC, RTU, tools and I/O).
Communication with each individual station can be easily managed using the State/Command variable to enable data sharing, modem control, and communication status verification. These functions join many of the other Movicon templates (historian with data analysis and comparisons, automatic reports, variable statistics...) utilized in the remote control sector.
