June 29, 2006 - Carlisle, PA - Automation Systems Interconnect can build complete DIN assemblies to customer specifications. Customers have the option of sending in a drawing or using the EZ-Rail design software found online at the ASI website. Once we receive a request we can normally provide an engineering drawing and a quotation in a matter of days. Recently ASI announced exact equivalent terminal blocks to Phoenix Contact, Allen Bradley and Weidmuller. This assembly service will allow customers to save a considerable amount of time and money on both the components and the completed DIN assembly.
For example, a typical DIN rail assembly can have as many as 100 different items including terminal blocks, ground blocks, fuse blocks, circuit breakers, markers, bridges, end covers and stops and more. Instead of ordering all of these items, stocking each one and then having to handle these items multiple times including inventory, a complete assembly includes everything, and you only order, process and work with one part number. You do not tie up inventory, labor, time or money by using complete DIN rail assemblies.Using the EZ rail software is fast and easy online and the program allows the customer to quickly lay out any din rail terminal block assembly in a matter of minutes.
ASI provides this value-added service that reduces the cost of using IEC terminal blocks in quantities of one to thousands of the same assembly. The ASI EZ Rail design configuration software will walk the customer through the steps necessary to layout and design a rail assembly using terminal blocks, power supplies, signal conditioners, relay packages, interface modules, custom markers and numerous accessories; all provided by ASI.
