The MZ Multi-zone safety controller series allows for the custom combination of several Tapeswitch Corporation safety controllers, a selection from the PRSU 4, 5, or SRUS (light curtain) controllers built to safety application requirements. The PRSU/4 and PRSU/5 safety controllers are used as safety devices for high-risk automation and machine control applications.
These safety controllers exceed the requirements of category 3 Pld, OSHA, ANSI, and RIA Standards. The PRSU/4 and PRSU/5 safety interface modules have redundant safety output relays, are self-monitoring, and are rated Control Reliable. They are available in a DIN rail-mounted package. The PRSU/4 Safety Controller operates from a 24 VDC or VAC power supply. The PRSU/5 Safety Controller operates from a 115 VAC power supply.
Both models feature user-configured manual and automatic reset capability. The SRUS can be integrated for light curtain applications.
