It is mounted directly at a SUB-D9 case opening and wired with the included cable to a pin connector of an internal USB interface of the mainboard. The powerful Cortex M3 processor with onChip CAN and USB controllers provides low latency times. CPC-USB/embedded includes galvanic decoupling between CAN and USB and has an extended operational temperature range.
The competitive price favors high volume applications. Windows and Linux drivers are identical to those of the long-time available standard USB/CAN interface CPC-USB/ARM7. SocketCAN is supported for Linux applications.
