August 8, 2011 — Weidmuller introduces WDK 10 dual-level terminal, designed to reduce cabinet space by 50% and ideally suited for applications where there is limited panel space for power distribution terminal installations. With a 10mm width, the new WDK 10 offers one of the highest wiring densities among screw terminals for power distribution applications requiring 6AWG conductors. WDK 10 integrates two independent circuits within one terminal. This new design includes corresponding jumpering channels that accommodate the connection of screw-down jumpers to adjacent terminals. Depending on power distribution requirements, an upper- and lower-bussed terminal is available (WDK 10V) to common 4-wires to one terminal.

The new WDK 10 features Weidmuller’s standard vibration-proof and maintenance-free “self-locking” screw clamp termination technology and is electrically rated for 600V/64A/18-6AWG to UL and CSA standards.
