National Instruments Extends PXI to Microwave Frequencies
The new RF and microwave signal generators extend PXI to 6.6 GHz for continuous-wave (CW) sourcing, common tunable local oscillator (LO) and stimulus-response applications. In a single 3U PXI slot, the RF and microwave signal generators also offer the best phase noise and jitter of any NI source. All seven generators use direct digital synthesis (DDS) for high-resolution frequency hopping or phase-continuous sweeping for characterization applications. -
NI Announces PCI Version of Dynamic Range Digitizer
PCI version of the PXI-5922 flexible-resolution digitizer, also known as a PC-based oscilloscope, makes a wide range of dynamic measurements. This universal instrument is now available in a PCI form factor for applications in a variety of industries including communications, semiconductor, biomedical and ultrasonic nondestructive test (NDT). -
MagStar Technologies Conveyor Meets Cleanroom Standards
The Quickdraw Conveyor for use in cleanroom environments has a 50 percent smaller footprint than other conveyor systems, making it ideal for laboratory environments. It has a height of 2-7/8 inches and is only 1-1/2 inches wider than the transport tray. Along with its compact size, the conveyor features zone buffering and integrated sensors that provide users with conveyor control within specific conveyor zones. -
Symbion Systems Announces Software Platform for Process Analyzer
Analyzer software includes three analytical suites. Symbion-DX and Symbion-RX& provide a standard process analytical software environment for controlling, sequencing and networking analytical instruments, sampling systems and data analysis routines. Symbion LX is an analytical laboratory software suite for spectroscopic analysis, connectivity, compliance and control. -
Taperhex Result is in Significant Noise-Reduction and Reduced Maintenance Costs
Interroll Corporation offers its popular 1700 Series universal conveyor roller with a Taperhex shaft design. The double spring-loaded Taperhex design allows the tapered hexagonal shaft to fit snuggly into side frame mounting holes, regardless of size or condition. The shaft design offers long-term performance reliability by providing a tight, self-adjusting fit that virtually eliminates movement and wear in the frame. The result is in significant noise-reduction and reduced maintenance costs in popular 1700 series applications including package and parcel handling, warehouse and distribution, food processing, security, and pharmaceutical.
