WHO WE ARE
International Society of Automation
The International Society of Automation (ISA) is a nonprofit professional association founded in 1945 to create a better world through automation. ISA empowers the global automation community by developing widely used, consensus-based standards and providing trusted, vendor-neutral technical knowledge that helps professionals solve complex challenges, strengthen their capabilities and advance the automation profession.
Working in partnership with members, customers and subject matter experts around the world, ISA develops standards in areas such as industrial cybersecurity, safety, batch control and enterprise integration; offers professional certifications including the Certified Automation Professional® (CAP®) and Certified Control Systems Technician® (CCST®); and delivers standards-based education and training through instructor-led, online and in-plant courses. ISA also publishes peer-reviewed books, white papers, InTech magazine and ISA Transactions, and brings the automation community together through conferences, webinars, ISA Connect and other opportunities for technical collaboration, networking and professional development.
