Senior Membership
A combination of 10 years of advanced education and experience qualifies you for Senior membership. If you qualify, Senior membership will automatically be applied.
Life Membership
After 25 years of membership and when your age and total years of membership adds to 90, you are automatically elevated to Life membership and exempt from dues.
Student Membership
ISA student membership is designed to support your education, career exploration and professional growth in automation.

Who can join ISA?
ISA membership is open to individuals who are pursuing a career in automation, currently working in automation or studying automation and related fields. ISA welcomes professionals at every career stage, as well as students preparing to enter the profession.
When does my membership begin and end?
Your ISA membership begins when your application and payment are processed. All memberships end on 31 December of each year.
What countries are eligible for reduced ISA membership dues?
The countries listed below are eligible for reduced ISA membership dues based on their economic status as determined by the World Bank Organization, a nonprofit group dedicated to fighting poverty. Members in these countries enjoy all the benefits and privileges of regular membership.
Effective 1 October 2025, reduced-dues are 79 USD per year.
